Karlheinz Hackl

Karlheinz Hackl ( born May 16, 1949 in Vienna) is an Austrian actor and theater director.

Life

After training at drama school he Krauss has been engaged at Theater of Courage (1972 /73), Viennese popular theater ( 1974-1976 ), Hamburg's Thalia Theatre ( 1976-1978 ) and since 1978 at the Vienna Burgtheater.

Hackl is since 1996 full professor of design role at the Max -Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna. Prior to his artistic career, he completed his studies in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics with a Master Title.

Since 1997, Hackl is married to the Austrian actress Maria Köstlinger. The two have a daughter named Melanie. 2003 him a carcinoma in the brain was found, which was soon removed him then.

In 2008, Hackl tried with their own party as candidates in the Austrian national elections, but failed in advance due to an insufficient number of declarations of support.

Hackl 2009 published the CD " Mei lebn - with songs by Georg Danzer ". It contains mostly unpublished songs by Georg Danzer, he has written for Karlheinz Hackl.
