Karlskrona AIF

Karlskrona AIF is a Swedish football club based in Karlskrona.

History

Karlskrona AIF was founded in 1967 as a merger of Karlskrona BK, BK and Saltö Björkholmens IF and took the place of the first two in the fourth division Division 4 Blekinge. While Karlskrona BK had played several times in the third division in the 1930s and Saltö BK was from 1962 to 1963 for two seasons started second-rate, Björkholmens IF did not occur nationally in appearance.

In 1970 after the team of Karlskrona AIF promotion to the third division. Initially placed in the middle of the league in 1973 succeeded the relay victory in Division 3 Sydöstra Götaland.
