Karoline Nemetz

Karoline Nemetz ( born June 28, 1958) is a former Swedish middle and long distance runner.

At the World Athletics Championships 1980 ( which consisted of two women's competitions which were not part of the program of the Olympic Games in Moscow) in Sittard, she won silver over 3000 m.

She was twice national champion in the 1500 m (1978, 1979), three times higher than 3000 m (1978, 1979, 1981 ) and twice in cross country (1979, 1980).

In the New York City Marathon 1981 she finished sixth in 2:37:06 h time would have been a Swedish record, but it was found that the track was 150 meters too short. The following year, she finished fourth in the Stockholm Marathon.
