The third class, which always went down a bit, was the formula C, the switch class with 125 cc gear motors. From the year 2001, the World Cup was extended à 2 races in 5 event, and only in the Formula Super A. All other classes drove (for now) no World Cup from. This system has been abolished but rather quickly, as the Formula Super A has always been expensive and was hardly affordable. In 2003, barely enrollments came, the CIK abolished the Formula Super A completely. All World Championship races were canceled, only the planned season - finale at Sarno was carried out, the World Cup was again extended in Formula A, after the elimination of the Formula Super A nachrückte as premier class. Several works teams came the privateers were there anyway and had another big field of riders. Since 2003, the World Cup will again, as originally, once a year, extended on a weekend, in the classes of the formula A and formula C, which is, however, referred to the date as Super IC / C. Since 2006, the World Cup is now extended also in the IC / A class. In 2007, the new TaG ( Touch and Go ) motors that are started by pressing a button on the steering wheel and have a clutch came. The motors have 125 cc and are cordoned off at 16,000 rpm, which is to make the motors more durable than the old 100 cc engines, which in the IC / A to about 19,000, in the formula A to about 20,000 and Formula Super A, thanks to the larger carburetor, over 20,000 turned. Although the classes were given new names and engines, but in principle, today's the old formula A KF1, KF2 and the old IC / A. The formula C / Super IC / C has also a new name, it is referred to as absofort KZ1, Technically this class, however, remained unchanged. The world championship of Formula A or KF1 was getting along with the, the Formula Super A or is the IC / A or KF2 always played with. The World Championships of the formula C or KZ1, however, will take on another weekend, on a different path, in conjunction with other CIK Championships.
