Kasempa

Kasempa is a place in the upper reaches of the river Lufupa and 100 kilometers north of the Kafue National Park in the North West Province of Zambia. It is located 1,134 meters above sea level and is the seat of the administrative district of the same name with 44 002 inhabitants ( 2000 census ).

Economy

The district is dominated by subsistence farmers, but there are plenty of water so that fish farms be encouraged. Drinking water is a problem, since holes are missing.
