Kaset Sombun District

Amphoe Kaset Sombun ( Thai: อำเภอ เกษตรสมบูรณ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of Chaiyaphum province. The Chaiyaphum Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

The neighboring districts are starting clockwise from the north: the Amphoe Khon San, Phu khiao, Kaeng Khro, Mueang Chaiyaphum and Nong Bua Daeng. All Amphoe lie within the province of Chaiyaphum.

In the north of the county is the game reserve khiao Phu (Phu khiao Wildlife Reserve ). The national park is located south of Phu Laenkha Kreisesis.

History

The area of present-day Kaset Sombun was originally a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) Amphoe Phu of khiao. In 1917 it was renamed from " Kaset Sombun " in " Ban Yang ", the name of the central tambon. On March 1, 1939, the sub-district was promoted to a Amphoe and simultaneously renamed back to the historical name Kaset Sombun.

Management

Amphoe Chatturat is ( tambon) divided into eleven municipalities, which in turn consist of 144 villages ( Muban ).

There are also four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Kaset Sombun ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เกษตรสมบูรณ์ ) consists of parts of tambon Ban Kaset Sombun and Yang,
  • Ban Pao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน เป้า ) also consists of parts of the tambon Ban Pao,
  • Ban Duea ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน เดื่อ ) consists of the whole tambon Ban Duea,
  • Ban Bua ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน บัว ) consists of the whole tambon Ban Bua.

In addition, there are nine " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).

Note: geocode 11 belongs to the municipality Sap Si Thong, Amphoe Mueang which in 2003 was the Chaiyaphum assumed.
