Kasper Nielsen ( born June 9, 1975 in Hillerød, Denmark ) is a Danish handball player. He is 1.92 m tall and weighs 102 kg.

Nielsen, who plays for the Danish first division club Bjerringbro - Silkeborg and accrued for the Danish national team, is used in the play position back space left. He is regarded as a defensive specialist.

Kasper Nielsen began in 1985 with the team Helsinge with the handball game. In 1995 he was hired at then at Helsingør IF, before he moved on to GOG Gudme Svendsborg 1997. Here he won the 1998, 2000 and 2004, the Danish Championship and was three times cup winners. In the 2001/2002 season he played just once for the SG Flensburg- Handewitt; in 2005, he ran three more years for the promotion townspeople. With the SG he was in the 2007 Champions League final, but was defeated there against THW Kiel. 2008 Nielsen returned to GOG Svendsborg TGI. After GOG withdrew for financial reasons of game operation during the 2009/10 season, he joined in February 2010, the second division Faaborg HK on. Prior to the 2010/11 season Nielsen signed a contract with Bjerringbro - Silkeborg.

Kasper Nielsen has played so far 189 caps for the Danish national team. At the 2008 European Championships in Norway and at the 2012 European Championship in Serbia, he became European Champion with the Danish team. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
