Kasprowy Wierch

The Kasprowy Peak (Polish ) or Kasprov vrch ( slowak. ) is a 1987 meter high mountain on the Polish- Slovak border in the Western Tatras. Since 1938, located on the Polish side of the summit, a meteorological and an astronomical observatory.

Tourism

Since 1910, the mountain is very popular as a ski resort. Two cable cars, built in the years 1961/62 and 1967 /68, as deduced from the two slopes of Zakopane.
