The Kassianspitze (Italian Cima di San Cassiano, 2581 m asl ) is a mountain on the southern edge of the Ostkamms Sarntaler the Alps and offers a comprehensive view of the Dolomites. The mountain is located less than a kilometer north of the Latzfonser Cross, an ancient pilgrimage site with a small sanctuary and shelter. The north-east location Fort Schell Charter ( 2299 m slm ) separates the mountain from the other burr profile with plank Horn ( 2543 m slm ) and scrap Horn ( 2590 m slm ). South of the Lückl ( 2376 m asl ) is the saddle over which the path from the Sarn Valley leads Latzfonser cross. From there, the southwest ridge extending to Villanderer mountain on no higher elevations more.

Southeast of Kassianspitze is preceded by a secondary peak, the 2526 meter high Ritzlar. Viewed from the southeast, from Eisacktal, Verdings or Latzfons, the Ritzlar blocks the view to the main summit. Southwest of the Kassianspitze there is another side peak with an altitude of 2563 meters, which is also called Samspitze. The main peak and two side peaks each carry a cross on the summit.
