Kastamonu Vilayet

The Vilayet Kastamonu ( Turkish Kastamonu Vilayeti ) was a vilayet of the Ottoman Empire. It had an area of ​​50,686 km ², the capital was Kastamonu.

History

Until the 19th century Kastamonu was a sanjak of eyalet Anatolia and was renamed in 1846 Eyalet and by the vilayet Nizamnâmesi in 1867 in a vilayet.
