Katarzyna Rogowiec

Katarzyna Rogowiec (born 14 October 1977 in Rabka ) is a Polish Paralympionikin in cross-country skiing. She won the 2005 World Championships Biathlon 12.5 km and 2011 about 5 km.

Life

Katarzyna Rogowiec was born in the Polish spa town Rabka. With three years she lost both hands in an accident with a harvester. She attended the Second General educational Gymnasiun in Rabka. In 2001 she completed her studies in public finance from the Cracow University of Economics ( Akademia Ekonomiczna in Krakow ). They also visited in 2005 successfully graduate studies in personnel management at the Warsaw School ( Wyższa SzkoĹ Zarządzania Personelem w Warszawie ). In 2008 she took part in an expedition of the Foundation for the Mentally Handicapped Mimo Wszystko ( despite everything ) in part to Kilimanjaro. In January 2009, Katarzyna Rogowiec for three years a member of the World Anti -Doping Agency ( WADA). 2013 their daughter was born.

Athletic Performance

Katarzyna Rogowiec trained at the club in Nowy Sacz start and since 2002 has been part of the Polish national team.
