Kate Elliott

Kate Elliott (born 1958, as Alis A. Rasmussen) is an American science fiction and fantasy author.

In the 1980s and early 1990s, she published her first books under her real name Alis A. Rasmussen, who had not yet been commercially successful. Other publishers were interested in their manuscripts, however, insisted on a name that was unencumbered by the poor sales of the earlier books. So their books published since 1992 under the pseudonym Kate Elliott.
