Kathleen Erin "Kate" Walsh ( born October 13, 1967 in San Jose, California) is an American actress.
Life
Walsh grew up in San Jose and Tucson, Arizona, on. She is the youngest of five children in an Italian -born mother and an Irish father. In the 1980s she worked as a model in Japan. Later, she attended the University of Arizona, where she stood for the first time on stage. Then she moved to Chicago, where she worked on as a theater actress. She also worked at National Public Radio. Later, Walsh moved to New York City, where she joined a comedy group and participated in some off- Broadway plays.
Her first major television appearance was a minor role in the Drew Carey Show.
