Katharina Knie is a popular play in four acts by Carl Zuckmayer. The poet himself called his work " an acrobat piece". Experienced its world premiere there on December 21, 1928 in Berlin Lessing Theater.

Action

The play takes place in 1923 and 1924 in a small town of Palatine.

Once again, the traveling circus is knee on the street of the small town in the Palatinate. The company is in bad shape because the rampant inflation is getting to him badly.
