On 1 January 2010, by then independent municipality Katharinenrieth was incorporated together with the communities Beyernaumburg, Emseloh, Holdenstedt, Liedersdorf, Mittelhausen Niederröblingen (helmets ), Nienstedt, Pölsfeld, Sotterhausen and Wolferstedt in the city Altstedt.
