Katherina Matousek

Katherina Matousek ( born April 20, 1964 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a former Canadian figure skater who started in pair skating.

Her partner was Lloyd Eisler. With him she finished in 1983, at their first joint World Cup participation, the tenth place. In 1984, Matousek and Eisler Canadian pair skating champion. They finished the Olympics in Sarajevo in eighth place and the World Cup in fifth place. At their last gig together they won at the World Championships 1985 in Tokyo with bronze behind the Soviet pairs Jelena Walowa and Oleg Vassiliev and Larissa Selezneva and Oleg Makarov their only major international medal. Then the figure skating couple separated. Eisler continued his career later on with Isabelle Brasseur.
