Katherine of Bavaria

Catherine of Bavaria (* 1360 probably in The Hague, † 1402) was the eldest daughter of Duke Albrecht I of Straubing- Holland. She married in 1379 to more than three years younger than William of Jülich, whose grandfather, her father had been captured in 1355. The marriage with Wilhelm however remained childless. Was Catherine, a member of the Order of the Garter, is buried with her ​​husband in the Carthusian monastery Monnikhuizen north of Arnhem.
