Katherine Stinson

Katherine Stinson ( born February 14, 1891 in Alabama; † July 8, 1977 in Santa Fe, New Mexico) was an American aviation pioneer. The Kunstfliegerin was the first writer sky and flew the first woman to a loop. Together with her sister Marjorie she had the first led by a woman flying school.

Her brother, Edward " Eddie" Stinson founded the Stinson Aircraft Company.

Like her sister was Katherine Stinson to the ninety-nine, an early association of female pilots in the United States.
