Kathimerini

Kathimerini (Greek Καθημερινή " The Daily ") is an Athenian morning newspaper.

It appears in Greek and selected articles in an English edition, which is sold separately in the U.S., Greece and Cyprus, however, the International Herald Tribune has been settled.

As a liberal- conservative daily Kathimerini which is traditionally the conservative New Democracy close, now she is independent and has some columnists rather than left-wing force. So it happens that represented in an issue of two columnists conflicting opinions.

History

The newspaper publishing house was founded in 1919 by Georgios Vlachos. After his death his daughter Eleni Vlachos took over the management.
