The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Campus Kortrijk ( KULCK ) is a campus of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Kortrijk, Belgium. The Campus Kortrijk is the only university in the province of West -Vlaanderen.

The University was established under the name Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Kortrijk afdeling ( KULAK ). The acronym is still used because of the ease of pronunciation. At the 1965 built campus study about 1200 students and 150 academic staff work. 100 more teachers share their working time between the campus and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Leuven in the province of Flemish Brabant.

History

The university was founded in 1964. The Kortrijk University is the only university in the province of West -Vlaanderen.
