Kathy Castor

Katherine Anne " Kathy " Castor ( born August 20, 1966 in Miami, Florida) is an American politician. Since 2007, it represents the state of Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Kathy Castor was born in Miami, the daughter of Betty Castor. Her mother was a state senator in Florida and lost in the 2004 election to the U.S. Senate narrowly defeated Mel Martínez.
