Kathy Davis

Katherine L. " Kathy " Davis ( * June 24, 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American politician. Between 2003 and 2005 she was Deputy Governor of the State of Indiana.

Career

Kathy Davis studied until 1978 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Subsequently, she worked in the research and development company of her father. One of their tasks was to investigate vibrations in submarines. She then graduated from the Harvard Business School. In 1982, they came to Indiana, where she worked for several years for the Cummins Engine Company. At the same time they hit as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. In 1995, she was Director of the State Budget Indiana. After that, she held various other offices of state. From 2000 to 2004 she held the position of Controller of the city of Indianapolis.
