Kathy Leander

Kathy Leander ( born May 24, 1963 in All, Canton of Jura as Catherine Meyer) is a singer from Switzerland.

From the age of 13, she sang in the choir of the village church. In 1989 she moved to Geneva, where she performed in nightclubs. In 1991, she took one of the best places in the country music festival in Geneva. In 1992 she won the European Song Festival in Bordeaux.

She was bank employee in Geneva when she was selected by Swiss television to represent Switzerland at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1996. Mon cœur l' aime your song (Eng. "My heart loves him " ) but reached 22 points only the 16th in 23 participants.
