Katie Leclerc ( born November 6, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas, as Katie Lynn Leclerc ) is an American actress who is known from her role as Daphne Vasquez in the TV series Switched at Birth.
Life and career
Katie Leclerc was born in November 1986 in San Antonio, Texas. She is the youngest of three siblings and grew up in Lakewood, Colorado. She is hard of hearing; at the age of 20 years was with her Meniere's disease, a degenerative disorder of the inner ear, diagnosed. Her father and older sister also have this disease.
