Katja Kraus

Katja Kraus ( born November 23, 1970 in Offenbach am Main ) is a former German footballer and football functionary.

Playing career and study

She studied from 1990 to 1996 in Frankfurt am Main German and Politics and graduated as a goalkeeper of FSV Frankfurt 220 games in the Bundesliga. She was three times German Champion (1986, 1995, 1998 ) and four times German Cup winner (1990, 1992, 1995, 1996). In the National Katja Kraus graduated between 1995 and 1997 seven games, was Vice World Champion 1995, European Champion and participated in the 1996 Olympics.

Professional career

From 1997, she worked in the PR department of Adidas, then as a spokeswoman for Eintracht Frankfurt. In March 2003, she occupied the first woman to a management position at a German Bundesliga soccer team. She was responsible at Hamburger SV in the fields of communication and marketing.
