Kavana (singer)

Kavana (Anthony Kavanagh, born 4 November 1977, in Moston, Manchester, Lancashire ) is a British pop singer and actor. In the second half of the 1990s he had several hits in Germany and the UK.

Biography

Anthony Kavanagh was the mid 1990s, a protege of Nigel Martin- Smith, head of Nemesis Records, who had already brought together Take That. Its then a member Howard Donald wrote the song Crazy chance, which was published in 1996 as the debut single under Kavanagh pseudonym Kavana. In the UK, the title debuted at number 35 on the charts in Germany at number 79 with Where Are You Now ( # 26 ) was followed in the same year a second hit in the home.

From the 1997 debut album Kavana were with I Can Make You Feel Good (UK number 8, DE # 71 ) and MFEO (UK number 8, DE No. 89 ) is coupled out two more singles. MFEO stands for Made For Each Other. Also Crazy chance came as the 1997 remix back in the top 20 of the UK singles chart. The singles from the 1998 album Instinct, Special Kind of Something (UK number 13 ), Funky Love (UK # 32 ) and Will You Wait for Me (UK # 29 ), were only successful in the UK.

Nine Days was 2006, the unsuccessful attempt of the 1.75 -meter British to build on previous successes. A year later, the best-of album Special Kind of Something hit the shelves.
