Kavminvodyavia, short KMV, (Russian Кавминводыавиа, transcription Kawminwodyawia ) was a Russian airline based in Mineralnye Vody.

History

KMV was founded in 1961 as Mineralnye Vody Aviation Group. The first international scheduled flight was held in 1980, Target was Berlin. In 1988 the airline was first restructured and renamed Mineralnye Vody Civil Aviation Enterprise. It was reorganized for the second time in 1995 when she and her partially privatized the current name Kavminvodyavia ( KMV ) was added. In 1997, the airline bought several Tupolev Tu- 204.

28 September 2011 it was announced that the airline will suspend flights because the AOC had expired in August and KMV was not in a position within the granted one-month deadline to file the necessary papers.
