Kay Dotrice
Katherine " Kay " Dotrice ( born May 9, 1929 as Katherine Newman, † August 2, 2007 in Hollywood, California ) was a British actress.
Life
Katherine Newman received her acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she met Roy Dotrice, whom she married in 1947. From then on she appeared as Kay Dotrice. Together with her husband she was in several plays with the Royal Shakespeare Company on stage. The couple has three daughters, Karen, Michele and Yvette, who are following in the footsteps of their parents. Kay Dotrice also acted in several television series and films in supporting roles, such as Cheech & Chong - Far and wide, no smoke in sight.
The actress died in 2007 at the age of 78 of a heart attack.
