Kayanza Province

Kayanza is a province of the Central African state of Burundi. It has about 487,000 inhabitants. It lies in the north of the country, on the border with Rwanda. The provincial capital is also called Kayanza.

Kayanza is divided into nine districts Butaganzwa, Gahombo, Gatara, Kabarore, Kayanza, Matongo, Muhanga, Muruta and Rango (District).
