Kayhude
Kayhude is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. Heidkrügerfeld and Middle Furth located in the municipal area.
Geography and transport
Kayhude lies on the ancient road connecting Hamburg- Bad Segeberg ( B 432), near the Alster.
History
On the Alster of the 19th century, plaster, brick, wood and peat were shipped from Kayhude to Hamburg until the end.
Policy
Of the twelve seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the local elections 2008 six seats and the voter communities CHP and WfK have three seats.
