Kazakhstan national football team
The Kazakh national football team is the national team of the Central Asian state of Kazakhstan. The Football Association is the Qasaqstannyng Futbol Federazijassy. Kazakhstan was from 1992 to 2002 a member of the AFC, then moved into the UEFA. The team currently occupies the rank 132 of the FIFA World Ranking (as of October 16, 2013 ).

History
We've played in 1992 their first official international match against Turkmenistan, previously owned the land to the Soviet Union. The first official FIFA international match played Kazakhstan on 14 June 1996 as part of the qualification for Asian Cup 1996 against Qatar and won 1-0. However, Kazakhstan has never qualified for the finals of a World Cup or European Championship and Asian Cup.
Participation in World Cup Soccer Championships
For the 1994 World Cup Kazakhstan was not eligible to play by FIFA.
In the first qualifying round Kazakhstan won the Group 9 against Iraq and Pakistan. In the second qualifying round but it finished last in Group B and retired.

In the first qualifying round Kazakhstan was tied with Iraq second in Group 6 and separated on goal difference from.
- 2006: not qualified
In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup, the Kazakhs lost eleven of the twelve games and were last in their group. It was the first qualifier in the UEFA.

In group 6, the Kazakhs were second from bottom and Andorra were able to leave behind.
- 2014: not qualified
In Group C, the Kazakhs won for the first time at the fourth last game against the Faroe Islands, but have no chance because of the victory of Sweden in Ireland to qualify.

In Group 7 Last Kazakhstan was behind Syria and Qatar.

The qualifying Group 4 behind closed Kazakhstan Qatar as the second of five teams from. In the hope of a better athletic development of the Kazakh federation in 2002 moved to UEFA.

For the Euro 2004 Kazakhstan was not eligible to play in the UEFA.
- 2008: not qualified
As part of the qualification for Euro 2008 Kazakhstan met in Group A Portugal, Serbia, Poland, Belgium, Finland, Armenia and Azerbaijan. On the 1st Round in August 2006, it was enough away to a respectable 0-0 draw against Belgium, a few weeks later, another draw was achieved in Azerbaijan. On 24 March 2007, the team against Serbia managed a 2-1 win. Kazakhstan completed the qualification from 6 out of the group.
- 2012: not qualified
Was in qualifying for Euro 2012, in Kazakhstan are in Group A along with Germany and Austria, the Kazakhs was only a 2-1 home win against Azerbaijan and 0-0 at home against Austria. In the end it gave back only to the last place in the group.
- 2016: In the qualification Kazakhstan first encounter with the Netherlands, Iceland and the Czech Republic, Turkey and Latvia. With Iceland and Kazakhstan the farthest apart located UEFA members meet.

German player
The Kazakh national team struggled from the beginning to German players who had Kazakh roots. Searched for German clubs to Russia Germans or their descendants, who were deported during the period of the Soviet Union to Kazakhstan. So far there are four German, which have emerged for Kazakhstan.
International matches against German -speaking teams
So far, the team has played no games against Liechtenstein and Switzerland. In qualifying for the Euro 2012 took place the first games against Germany and Austria.
