Kazan Ansat

The Kazan Ansat (Russian Казанский Ансат ) is a Russian helicopter manufacturer Kazan Helicopters. It is designed twin engine, has a four-bladed main and two-bladed tail rotor and a skid landing gear. The term Ansat comes from the Tatar and means " easy" or " simple ".

The knowledge gained and a more powerful engine ( PW207K ) led to further modifications, such as a change in power transmission, a new tail rotor and some changes in the cabin. The third prototype flew on 27 December 2001 for the first time. He was subjected to a new trial in 2004 with over 300 flights. Parallel to an extended version of a meter, the Ansat -3 was developed, which has a longer cabin for passengers to 14. Other changes include a five-blade main and a four-bladed tail rotor and a fixed nose gear. This variant was unveiled at MAKS 2003.

So far, six Ansat have been exported to South Korea. The Russian Air Force has ordered from the school version Ansat -U about 40 pieces, of which about ten were delivered by 2012.
