Kazimierz Brandys
Kazimierz Brandys ( born October 27, 1916 in Łódź, † March 11, 2000 in Paris) was a Polish writer of Jewish origin.
Life
Brandy studied law at the University of Warsaw in 1935 and debuted as a theater critic. 1945-1950 he was a member of the weekly magazine " Kuźnica " 1956-1969 and the weekly magazine " Nowa Kultura ". 1970-1971 he taught Slavic literature at the Sorbonne in Paris. From 1978 on he lived abroad.
