Akebu (also: Akebou, Kebu, Kabu, Kegberike, Ekpeebhe ) is the language of the people of the same name Akebu.

They live mainly in Togo. Akebu belongs to the Kwa languages.

The number of speakers is estimated at about 56,400 (SIL 2002) people. They live mainly in southern Togo in the Prefecture de Wawa up to the border with Ghana. Local centers of Akebu Speakers are Kougnohou, Veh - Nkougna and Kamina.
