Kecskeméti TE

( Officially Kecskeméti Testedző Egyesülete, dt Kecskemét Turnverein ), often called Kecskeméti TE short KTE, is a football club from the approximately 110,000 inhabitants central Hungarian town of Kecskemét, Bács -Kiskun. The club's colors are purple and white. The club, established in 1911 is currently playing in the Nemzeti National Championship, the top Hungarian Football League.

KTE plays its home games at the Széktói Stadium, which has a capacity of 6,320 seats out.

In the 2007 /08 season, KTE established on the top of the table spaces of the eastern group of the second division, the Nemzeti National Championship II, and secured on May 17, 2008, a 5-0 victory over Vac - Ujbuda LTC promotion to the excellence, ie the Nemzeti National Championship I in the 2010/11 season the club won with a 3-2 final victory over champions Videoton FC for the first time the Hungarian Cup competition and qualified for the UEFA Europa League 2011/ 12, where the team in the second qualifying round of the Kazakh representatives FK Aktobe was inferior.
