Keepon

Keepon is a small robot therapy, which was developed in 2003 at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology ( NICT ) in Kyoto, Japan as part of the Infanoid project. The robot was developed for learning social interaction, especially in autistic children.

Keepon is moved by four engines, and has two cameras as sensors as eyes and a microphone as the nose. Using the camera and microphone can detect Keepon voices and faces and thereby take targeted eye contact with those around you.
