Keigo Abe

Keigo Abe (Japanese阿 部 圭 吾Keigo Abe, born October 28, 1938 in Iyoshi ) is a Japanese karateka.

Life

Abe is a carrier of the 9th Dan in Shotokan Karate and Chief Instructor of the Japan Shotokan Karate Association, a spin-off of the Japan Karate Association ( JKA ). He is the only allowed Shotokan martial artist who officially before the current Tenno ( Emperor ) of Japan perform katas.
