Keiko Fujimori

Keiko Sofía Fujimori Higuchi (Japanese藤森 恵 子, Keiko Fujimori ) ( born May 25, 1975 in Lima) is a Peruvian politician.

Private life

Fujimori's parents are the former president of Peru Alberto Fujimori and Susana Higuchi, the former congressman. She is married to Mark Vito Villa Ella, a US- American who has adopted in 2009 the Peruvian citizenship. They have two daughters: Kyara Sofia, born in 2007 and Kaori Marcela, born 2009.

Keiko graduated from high school graduation in 1992 at the Sagrados Corazones Recoleta in Lima. The following year she went to the U.S. to study business administration. She started at Stony Brook University and received her Bachelor 1997 at Boston University.

Policy

In August 1994, after the divorce of her parents, she was appointed by her father to the " First Lady" of Peru. At the age of 19 years, during her studies, she was the youngest First Lady of the American continent. Following the resignation of her father Keiko stayed in Peru until 2004, and then obtained a Master of Business Administration ( MBA) at Columbia University in New York.
