Keiko Kitagawa
Keiko Kitagawa (北 川 景 子Japanese, Kitagawa Keiko, born August 22, 1986 in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan ) is a Japanese actress and model. She was from September 2002 to 2006 permanent member of the "Model -Cast " of Japanese fashion magazine Seventeen. She became famous by its role as Sailor Mars in the 49 -part Japanese live-action series Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi.
Life
Keiko Kitagawa was born on August 22, 1986 in Hyogo Prefecture and grew up in Kobe. As a child she wanted to be a doctor. In high school, but she was unsure whether it was right for them. Around the same time, she was then approached by a modeling agency, and she decided to try it in the entertainment world. Her parents were initially against it, but then gave her permission but only with the conditions to quit within a year, if it does not progress and the first place to continue their studies. The study of Commercial Science at Meiji University in Tokyo, she completed in March 2009.
Keiko was very successful as a model and was voted Miss Seventeen 2003. Shortly after, she got her first significant role as Rei Hino / Sailor Mars in the live-action TV series Sailor Moon. Thus began her acting career, and she wanted to put her focus in the future.
Other films and TV dramas followed, including Cherry Pie ( lead role ), Dear Friends ( lead role ), her first international role in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, TV dorama Mop Girl and Homeroom on the Beachside. But only by their female lead in the drama Buzzer Beat, Yamashita Tomohisa addition, she managed the national breakthrough. For this she was awarded the Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix for Best Actress.
In February 2010 she was chosen by Oricon Style as the most popular " drama heroine ."
In the spring of 2010, she starred in the movie Hana no Ito, where she acted as a swordsman Ito. " Matataki " came in June 2010 in the cinemas and Shikeidai no elevator in the fall of 2010.
In May and July 2010, she starred alongside the actor and singer Kimura Takuya in the drama Tsuki no Koibito ~ Moon Lovers ~.
