The Keila River (Estonian Keila Jõgi ) is a river in Estonia. Its length is 107 km.

Description

The river rises in the bog of Loosalu in the southern part of the rural municipality in the district of Juuru Rapla. It ends at Keila - Joa in Harju County in the Gulf of Finland. Its average discharge is 6.4 m³ / sec, its catchment area 682 km ².

Particularly in the upper reaches of the river is rich in perch and pike.

Especially in the city of Keilah the river is used by the local industry. In the distance, is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Estonia, the Keila Waterfall ( Keila juga ).
