Keio Medical Science Prize

The Keio Medical Science Prize ( eng, jap庆 应 医学 赏, Keio Igakushō ) is an award from the Keio University in Tokyo Science Prize for medical research and life sciences. The award stems from a foundation of Japanese doctor Mitsunada Sakaguchi. The winners will receive a certificate, a medal and a sum of money (2012: 10 million yen, equivalent to about 75,000 euros ). At the award ceremony the winners each hold a lecture.

Seven of the 33 winners received later a Nobel Prize for physiology or medicine or chemistry.
