Keisha Buchanan

Keisha Kerreece Fayeanne Buchanan ( born September 30, 1984 in Westminster, London) is a British singer, who from 1998 to 2009 member of the British girl group Sugababes.

Life

Buchanan has Jamaican and Scottish ancestors. Blue member Simon Webbe 's her cousin.

Career

1998-2009: Sugababes

Buchanan and Mutya Buena became friends in elementary school. While studio recordings along with Siobhán Donaghy invited Buena Buchanan and the manager of the two decided that the three should work from then on as a trio. Your manager Ron Tom helped them quickly to a record deal with London Records, under the 2000 debut album One Touch appeared. Since the release of this album, the Sugababes became one of the most successful British artists. Together with the Sugababes, it has spawned six number - one singles and two number - one albums.

After Donaghy and Buena had dropped out in 2001 and 2005 respectively from the group and were replaced by Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah, it remained the only founding member of the Sugababes.

Buchanan was replaced by Jade Ewen. It became known that the management Buchanan had replaced after previously trying to leave the group both Berrabah and Range. Both Berrabah and Range alleged also that the reason for this step was that they could no longer work with Buchanan.

2009-2012: Solo

2004 Buchanan contributed vocals to the title of the London rapper Crazy Titch Gully at. July 20, 2012 it was announced on Siobhan Donaghys Twitter account and on the music website Popjustice that the origin of members of the Sugababes have reformed under a new name. In future, the band will perform under the name Mutya Keisha Siobhan.
