Keith Aulie

Keith Aulie ( born June 11, 1989 in Rouleau, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since February 2012 at the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Keith Aulie began his career as a hockey player with the Brandon Wheat Kings, for which he was active from 2005 to 2009 in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League. In the 2008 /09 season, he was elected to the first All-Star team in the Western Conference of the WHL. During his time in the WHL defender in the NHL Entry Draft in 2007 was selected in the fourth round as a total of 116 players from the Calgary Flames. For their farm team in Abbotsford Heat, he completed the 2009/10 season 43 games in the American Hockey League, scoring two goals and four assists.

As part of a larger transfer business he was discharged on 31 January 2010 along with Dion Phaneuf and Fredrik Sjostrom in exchange for Niklas Hagman, Jamal Mayers, Matt Stajan and Ian White of Calgary to the Toronto Maple Leafs, he for their AHL farm team Toronto Marlies played exclusively until season's end. The 2010/11 season began Aulie first with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL before he a regular place in the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League played its. In his debut season in the NHL, the Canadian scored two goals in 40 games.

On 27 February 2012 it transferred the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Carter Ashton to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Internationally

For Canada Aulie took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2009, in which he became world champion with his team.
