Keith Forsey

Keith Forsey (* January 1948 in London, England ) is an English record producer, writer, and drummer.

Life

In the 1970s, he was initially the drummer in various bands and musicians, as among others, Joy Fleming, Klaus Doldinger, Amon Düül II, Udo Lindenberg, Lipstique, Claudja Barry, Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder disco producers. Since the early 1970s Forsey worked as a studio musician, so for example, in the early Boney M. albums and wrote, for example, whose song Ribbons of Blue. During this time he was one of the busiest drummers in Germany and was formative for the legendary Munich sound. Particularly impressed and influenced by Moroder, Forsey began in 1977 itself, to act as producer.
