Keith Lehrer

Keith teacher ( born January 10, 1936) is an American philosopher. He is professor emeritus of the University of Arizona. Previously he taught at the University of Rochester.

Life

Teachers received his doctorate in philosophy from Brown University, where he studied under Richard Taylor. He worked mainly on epistemology, the coherence theory, the free will to Thomas Reid and aesthetics.

Teacher has written seven books on the philosophy and over 170 articles. He became known for his defense of the coherence theory of justification.

Teachers has also worked as a painter.
