Kel -i -Shin (KEL - A sin, Kelišin, Kurdish blue pillar) is the name of a mountain pass in the northern Zagros Mountains, which at 2,981 meters above sea level as the State border of Iran and Iraq between the towns Oschnaviyeh (Iran) and Rawanduz (Iraq ) runs. As namesake of the mountain pass functioned the so-called Kel -i -Shin stele.
