Kelley Jones

Kelley Jones ( born July 23, 1962 in Sacramento ) is an American comic book artist.

His first work for DC Comics in 1989 Deadman: Love After Death # 1-2, written by Mike Baron. Most popular is probably his very unconventional guessed interpretation of the figure of Batman. So he drew issues # 516-519, 521-549 and 551-552 of the monthly Batman series, as well as the trilogy Batman / Dracula ( Red Rain, Batman: Bloodstorm, Batman: Crimson Mist). All of these stories were written by the author Doug Moench, the first volume of Malcolm Jones III, the last two inked by John Beatty. He was also in 1992-1994 different covers of the Batman series Batman and Detective Comics, in particular the Expressionist covers of famous Knightfall storyline.

Except for the issues 516 and 517 of the monthly Batman series that are unpublished in German, his work on this series on the German Dino -Verlag published. His first Batman / Dracula story as well as some cover released as albums in Carlsen Comics, the other two at Panini.
