Kelly McCormick

Kelly Anne McCormick ( born February 13, 1960 in Anaheim ) is a former American Water Diving. She took part twice in the Olympic Games, winning two medals.

Career

Kelly McCormick is the daughter of Pat McCormick, who won four gold medals in the water jump. She studied at Ohio State University. From 1977 she served on the U.S. National Team. Her first national championship by three- meter board, she won in 1982. At the Pan American Games of 1983 in Caracas, she won gold from the three- meter board. A year later, McCormick at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles Silver from three- meter board to win and thus placed behind the Canadian Sylvie Bernier. Kelly McCormick participated in the World Swimming Championships 1986 in Madrid and was eighth. In 1987 Kelly McCormick participated in the Pan Games in Indianapolis. There she was able to defend her title from four years ago. At the Olympic Summer Games in Seoul in 1988 they also started from the three- meter board.
