Kelly Rutherford
Kelly Rutherford ( born November 6, 1968 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky ) is an American actress.
Her film career began in the late 1980s, when it was known in television series such as Home Front, The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. and No Greater Love to a wider audience in the United States. This was followed by Hollywood productions such as Scream 3, I love Trouble ( with Julia Roberts, Nick Nolte ) and swimming upstream, as well as numerous roles in U.S. TV series and short films, such as Megan Mancini in the television series Melrose Place. She also starred in series such as Generations and Threat Matrix. Along with Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper, she appeared in the Jerry Bruckheimer production E-ring on television. Currently it plays in the American television series Gossip Girl, which will air in the U.S. since September 2007, the role of Lily Humphrey.
Privately, she is involved with the Step Up Women's Network, an association whose aim is to women in society to gain better conditions and opportunities and thus to pave a better future. A number of successful American women comes into this network a volunteer for women's rights.
Kelly Rutherford's second husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch has the, filed for divorce in December 2008. She has two children who live with her ex-husband in France.
