Kelly Santos

Kelly da Silva Santos ( born November 10, 1979 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Career

Women's National Basketball Association

Kelly Santos was selected by the Detroit Shock at the 54th place in the WNBA Draft 2001. Santos then played from 2001 to 2002 a total of 26 games for the Shock. In 2003, she was placed on the waiver list, so that the shock could break up with her. In 2008 she returned to the WNBA when it was committed by the Seattle Storm.

Internationally

In 2000, she won at the Summer Olympic Games in Sydney with the Brazilian national basketball team the bronze medal.
